Privacy Policy

We measure how this website is used so we can improve it: which pages are read, how long they are viewed, how far visitors scroll, which links are clicked, where visits come from (for example a search engine, LinkedIn or a link we shared) and how quickly pages load.

**Cookie.** With your consent, or where consent is not required by law, we set one first-party cookie (`vs_id`) containing a pseudonymous identifier. It lets us recognize your browser on later visits and connect your page views, interests and any enquiry you send us. Because it links this information together, it can be personal data even though it does not contain your name. The cookie lasts up to 90 days. A second cookie (`vs_consent`) remembers your choice.

**What we record with the cookie.** Pages viewed and time spent, scroll depth, clicks on links and downloads, the referring site or campaign, your approximate location (country and state or region, derived from your IP address), device type, operating system and browser, and your IP address.

**Without the cookie.** If you decline, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we do not set the analytics cookie or create a visitor profile. Your visit only adds to anonymous daily counts (for example, one more view of a page from a given country). Your IP address is used briefly to determine the country and is not stored.

**Retention.** Detailed browsing records are deleted after 90 days. Security and error logs, which may include IP addresses, are deleted after 30 days. Daily totals that contain no identifiers are kept for long-term comparison.

**Where the data is kept.** Analytics data is stored in our own database on servers we operate through our hosting provider. We do not sell it or share it with advertisers, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising services.

**Your choices.** You can change your choice at any time using the "Privacy preferences" link at the bottom of every page. To ask us to delete the analytics data linked to your browser, contact us at [your email]; we can locate it by your browser's identifier or IP address.
